The Rural Overall health Affiliation of Oklahoma past 7 days regarded Michele Horn, of Northeastern Overall health Process, for her perform in rural wellbeing education and learning.

Horn was named Rural Health and fitness Educator of the Calendar year at the awards luncheon in the course of the 2021 Rural Well being Convention in Edmond.

Horn has been a registered nurse for 32 several years. She graduated from Tulsa Community College or university with an affiliate degree in used science, a nursing degree, and afterwards a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Western Governor’s College. She has many many years of expertise and understanding that she fortunately shares with her friends and strives to make sure her educational style is adaptable to any new learner’s demands.”

In her acceptance speech, Horn claimed, “We are profitable mainly because of the folks close to us.”
