Three Hamden food establishments failed health inspections

HAMDEN — Wellness division data display 3 food items establishments in city received a “C” rating during health and fitness inspections in the final 6 months, the most affordable quality presented by the Quinnipiack Valley Wellness District.

But all three eating places did effectively on subsequent reinspections, scoring an “A” grade. An inspector pointed out cleanup at the cafe that experienced gained the most affordable rating was “much better” on the next inspection.

A “C” quality “indicates the institution is in will need of improvements to reduce pitfalls of disease, but there is no speedy threat requiring closure of the establishment,” in accordance to the QVHD’s rating requirements.
