Ericka Zimmerman, a professor and director of Western Carolina University’s College
of Health and fitness Sciences, was not too long ago inducted as a distinguished practitioner fellow for
the Nationwide Academies of Exercise.
The NAP is a nonprofit with members from a array of wellbeing care professions serving
as distinguished advisors to policymakers in Congress and somewhere else. It advocates
for top quality, interprofessional care to enhance well being outcomes for individuals and communities,
and extends its fellowship honors to individuals who excel in their professions and are
focused to advancing interprofessional exercise, dialogue, scholarship and plan.
Zimmerman, who began her occupation as a medical athletic coach, will provide as a fellow
in the athletic schooling academy, one particular of a lot more than a dozen experienced academies
that make up the NAP.
